Chris Fenwick joins us for the third installment of 'Talking Music' with Stephen Foster.
From the early days as teenage friends busking outside pubs in Canvey Island, Essex, to sell-out tours and a No.1 album, a few bands can match the tales from 40 years of life on the road of Dr. Feelgood.
Throughout their journey from the marshlands of the Thames Estuary to the hearts of R&B fans worldwide, one man has maintained the helm and navigated the band through the notoriously treacherous waters of the music industry... Their manager, Chris Fenwick.
Tales of dark deeds, crooked club owners, ghostly encounters, and the infamous L.A.P.D bust that would land Fenwick in jail (but ironically, provide the band with their biggest hit single!) Stories of performing for melons as payment and rioting Spaniards, tales of his travels of the world. Chris Fenwick, story teller and raconteur will present to an audience tales of his journey.
Tickets: £7.50 Adv./£10.50 OTD
Doors: 19:30
Takes place in the evening or night
Takes place indoors
Inspiring discussions or educational talks
