Each month you can find the Stowmarket Repair Cafe at Red Gables on the Second Sunday of each month. The Stowmarket Repair Cafe have a team of 26 volunteers which can help with bicycle checks and minor repairs, sewing and clothing repairs, jewellery, small electricals, gluing and general repairs and more. Bring along your item and enjoy refreshments whilst you wait. Our incredible Volunteer team have successfully repaired more than 540 items since they opened in 2022.
The Stowmarket Recycling Stall in partnership with Stowmarket Eco Future Group accept those hard-to-recycle items that maybe aren't suitable for your at home recycling bin. Our team will accept clean and dry coffee pods, sweet tubs and cracker tubs, coffee pods, medicine blister packs (limit of one bag per household), food nets, dry, clean pet food pouches, Tetrapak (dry, clean and flat), Spectacles and cases, Plastic makeup containers (empty), Laptops and tablets (for parts but must come with charger), Batteries and bicycle inner tubes.
The recycling Stall can also be found on the Market on the fourth Thursday of each month from 9:30am-11:30am.
