About this event

Enter a world of stories! From travellers and farmers to giants and dragons, the spaces of the Food Museum come alive as we celebrate the land through stories.

Discover some of the Museum’s hidden histories and join story walks through the trees and meadows. Enjoy late-night bat walks and even late-night horror, with daytime fun including hands-on workshops, puppets and treasure trails for children, plus music and dance.

Craft stalls, open mics, and story rounds by the fire mean everyone can get involved. From music and traditional dance to interactive family sessions and tales from local communities, there’s something for everyone.

What’s in store?
  • Experience the magic of skilled national and regional storytellers
  • Take part in ceilidhs, story rounds, and exciting interactive activities
  • Listen to live music from talented musicians and watch engaging performance and dance from local communities
  • Enjoy evening tales tailored for grownups, with daytime programmes perfect for families
  • Journey around the museum’s historic buildings to find the stories and storytellers hidden inside them
  • Camp in the spacious grounds, offering a unique opportunity to stay on-site and connect with nature
