About this event

Do you ever notice an inner voice that is overly critical or hard on yourself?

Many of us experience an inner voice that questions our worth, highlights our mistakes, or tells us we’re not good enough. This voice, often called the inner critic, can shape how we see ourselves and the choices we make.

Join Emma, an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, as she hosts a gentle and reflective workshop on a choice of two dates. Here, you’ll explore your inner dialogue through creative expression, curiosity, and self-compassion.

You’ll be invited to use simple creative materials to explore the different voices within your inner world, including the critical voice and the possibility of a kinder, more supportive inner ally.

This workshop offers a supportive space for reflection, creativity, and self-understanding.

No artistic experience is needed, only openness and curiosity.

During this two-hour workshop, you will be guided through:

  • Creative exploration exercises
  • Reflection and discussion
  • Developing your inner ally
  • Personal reflection prompts

What you’ll leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of your inner dialogue
  • A creative artwork representing your inner world
  • New perspectives on self-criticism
  • Gentle tools for practising self-compassion

This workshop may be helpful for adults who:

  • Find themselves being very self-critical
  • Struggle with self-doubt or overthinking
  • Are interested in creativity and self-reflection
  • Would like to develop a kinder relationship with themselves
  • Do not need to be artistic or experienced with creative activities

What to expect:

This will be a small and supportive group experience with space for reflection and creativity.

Sharing with the group is always optional.

All materials will be provided.

The focus is on curiosity rather than perfection.
