About this event
Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Regal, Stowmarket on Thurs Jul 9th for another night full of fun and laughter.
Topping the bill is the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, ‘Celebrity Deal Or No Deal’ and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ ‘Extras’. His intelligent and inventive storytelling is delivered from a slightly strange perspective, which is both entertaining and captivating.
Opening the night will be Indian Geordie, Raul Kohli, a finalist in English Comedian of the Year and nominee for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. A bubbly, high-energy comic with very comical stories about his culture and upbringing.
Completing the line-up is the warm and friendly Dawn Bailey with her honest and amusing no-holds-barred anecdotes.
Compere for the night will be Martin Westgate who appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and made the judges chuckle with cheeky digs at David Walliams.
