About this event

The Procession is one of the much-loved highlights of Stowmarket Carnival, bringing the town to life with decorated floats, vehicles, walkers, dancers, and bands.

The procession sets off from Meadlands Roundabout at approximately 12:30pm on Saturday, travelling west through Combs Ford and the town centre, before arriving at the Recreation Ground around 2:00pm (timings subject to change).

Pavements fill with spectators enjoying the colourful spectacle, many of whom then follow the procession to the Recreation Ground to enjoy live music, arena acts, and a wide variety of food and drink stalls.

And the best part?

🎟️ The Carnival is FREE to attend!
